Dr. Bill Harris grew up in Lafayette, California. He attended the University of Colorado in Boulder majoring in Zoology. He spent most of his free time hiking and skiing in the mountains. Dr. Harris earned his doctorate from Marquette University. He served two years as a dentist on an aircraft carrier in the United States Navy. He then returned to Washington University in St. Louis, Missouri to receive his Master of Science in Orthodontics.
Dr. Harris decided on the Healdsburg area to open his practice in 1972 because he enjoyed the rural farming community and the diversity of the population. He has enjoyed providing orthodontic treatment in the Healdsburg and Cloverdale area for the past 38 years. His activities include hiking, skiing, scuba diving, traveling and working in his garden.
Dr. Harris is an active member of the California Dental Society, American Association of Orthodontists, and the Pacific Coast Society of Orthodontists.
Dr. Harris has been involved in the Healdsburg Rotary Club, past president of the Healdsburg Boys and Girls Club and has served at the Indian Health Clinic.
